Amphenol Snap Rectangular / ASR
The ASR system is a well-designed concept for compact, high-performance, and easy-to-use snap-lock connectors. The ASR connector offers a solution with the highest priority given to space and weight savings, as well as shielding and sealing. It uses crimp contacts according to MIL-C-39029 standard and is also available with PCB contacts. The ASR series is ideally suited for use in in-seat systems, cabin service equipment, and in-flight entertainment systems. Compact trapezoidal connector Snap lock Signal and data transmission Up to 30 contacts per connector Max. 23A per contact Lightweight Trapezoidal connector (D-SUB) for data transmission, EMI/RFI protection, push-pull PCB connectors for aviation, unmanned systems, and urban air mobility. This signal connector (max. 7.5A) features a lightweight and robust thermoplastic construction, and a snap-lock mechanism for easy connection and disconnection, even blind mating. The connection can be made and released with just two fingers! Sealing is ensured by an interface seal and a grommet for cable sealing. Fire protection, smoke toxicity, and overall toxicity are compliant with ABD 031 and FAR 25853.
