  • 711 Series is a range of connectors, couplers and terminators for MIL-STD-1553B databus applications. Available in both single and multiway housings the connectors feature a size 10 twinax contact offering higher density than standard connectors with 12 contacts available in a shell size 24 housing. Both in-line and connectorised transformer couplers are available with our unique can coupler design offering a fully encapsulated 10 STUB coupler system within a size 24 connector housing. Both BUS (77W) and STUB (3K) termination connectors and contacts are available and all items are flight qualified for use on military aircraft.

The FS115 LowPro has a height of 0.25" making it ideal for edge-card connections and other applications that require minimal connector profiles. Using field-proven M29504/14 & /15 termini, this fiber optic connector has excellent optical performance with insertion losses of 0.35 dB (typical), 0.75 dB (maximum) and typical back reflection of -50 dB (single mode). The standard connector is offered with two fiber optic channels. Additional channels are available upon consultation with the factory. The FS115 LowPro is available in side mount, panel mount and inline configurations to support multiple mounting options. LowPro connectors are also offered in a wide variety of plating options and materials (aluminum, stainless steel, marine bronze and brass) to satisfy a wide range of harsh environments.

  • Amphenol FSI offers a MIL-DTL-83526/20 & /21 qualified expanded beam rugged fiber optic connector for military and industrial applications. Expanded beam technology expands and collimates the optical signal through the connector interface path resulting in a diameter many times that of the original beam. The optical beam is then refocused into the core of the receiving fiber. The larger beam diameter improves insertion loss performance in the presence of dust and debris. Also, because the lenses do not physically contact, there is no wear on the termini, which allows the connector to be mated and de-mated thousands of times without affecting optical performance.
